Activty C Free Write

College. There is so much to do to prepare. So much yet to be done. I don't know where I want to go yet. I don't know if I am making the right choices. Its just so hard. I don't know what to do. I Don't know if my grades will get me in. I don't know if I will get in to my number one school. I just want it to be over. I just want to be done with it. I want to have the best essay and the best letters. I want the schools to see what I am and what I can really do.

I want to have the best essay
and the best letters.
I want the schools to see what I am
and what I can really do.

Activity B Making A Poem

For her part,
Diana Spencer’s life was also normal
and ordinary.

On the eve of her wedding
she learned of the bracelet

with intertwined initials
Charles was about to give his lover.

Diana told her sisters
she couldn’t marry him.

“Too late, Duch,” they counseled,
“your face is on the tea towels.”

It was a shock,
but no surprise to Diana,

when Camilla’s picture fluttered
out of Charles’ diary on the honeymoon

Activity A Seperating the Poem

Is there a tune
more happy
than a daughter’s windchime laugh?

A silence
more crushing
than her rolling tear?

Is there a breeze
more cooling
than a son’s slumbered sigh?

A thought
more awesome
than the question that he asks?

And is there a truer joy
when I am the clown?

Shame when I accuse and rage?
Peace when I pull up the sheet?
Pride when I strike the flint?

I made these kids and I make these kids. And they make me.

Narrative Emoition Poem

The Cloud

this cloud was ugly
this cloud was very skinny
but this cloud was also very angry
it had a group of other cloud friends
they were bigger than him
darker than him
these clouds were not white
they were not cute
they were not in the shapes of animals
these clouds were a gang
this cloud turned my day around
i was at the park
then i left the park because the clouds were roaring
they were yelling at me
they were angry
i did not like these clouds
